Terms of Service
Last updated 23 October 2026
These terms govern your use of apprate, provided by apprate. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use apprate for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.
The beta
apprate is in beta and free of charge within the published limits. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We will give reasonable notice before introducing paid plans; nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
Your account
- Keep your login secure and tell us about any unauthorised use.
- Workspace owners control who has access to their workspace and its connected store accounts.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use apprate.
Your content and store accounts
- You keep all rights to your data. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- When you connect App Store Connect or Google Play, you authorise apprate to read reviews and to post the replies you send. You're responsible for replies posted from your workspace, including ones drafted with AI, and for following Apple's and Google's developer terms.
- AI-generated drafts can be wrong. Review them before sending.
Acceptable use
Don't use apprate to:
- break the law or the App Store and Google Play terms;
- harass reviewers or post misleading, abusive or spam replies;
- try to access other workspaces, overload the service, or work around its limits;
- resell or redistribute store data collected through apprate in bulk.
We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Third-party data
Store listings, ratings, reviews and rankings come from Apple and Google. We do our best to keep them accurate and current, but can't guarantee completeness. Keyword ranks are estimates based on public search results.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms or, with 30 days' notice, if we discontinue the service, giving you time to export your data.
Disclaimers and liability
apprate is provided “as is” during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which during the free beta is zero). Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; for material changes we'll email account owners in advance. Questions: hello@apprate.io.
